Fallen In Love With My Stepbrother

The dark clouds are scattered over the sky, and the winds blow heavily. The time was around 06:00 PM, and the streets became empty due to the fear that heavy rainfall might come.

Power got disconnected, and darkness created fear as the thunderstorms roared like a lion.

Catherine, a twenty-two-year-old girl, stopped the vehicle at the beach and went inside the seashore.

"When did you come?" Richard, a twenty-six-year-old young car racer, asked with joy.

Catherine did not speak for a moment, and silence took place between them that looked more fearful than darkness.

Her charming smile vanished away, and in place of the smile, only tears were falling from her eyes.

Richard understood why she was crying and touched his fingers, controlling his tears. He removed the ring that Catherine gifted him, threw it into the sea, and looked at her with sadness and grief that he was losing her from his life.

Catherine did not react and felt her soul was moving away from her. However, she does not want to speak a single word with Richard, as she knows she cannot control herself if she turns her eyes toward him.

Richard began to walk away from there with a heartbroken feeling and turned towards Catherine with the hope that she would call him back, but it did not happen.

After Richard left, Catherine could not hide her tears anymore, kneeling on the sand, crying like a baby.

The lightning flashes make her see her tears falling onto the sand, and the heavy winds that are blowing are stopping her from hearing her heartbeat sound. Instead, she is crying Richard's name every time.

"Richard, I love you the most. But, I am left with no option of saving those memories and leaving you, as our marriage cannot happen. Even if I had known that you were my stepbrother before few years, I could have stopped our love, but after three years, I came to know this truth." Catherine shouted with tears.

Catherine does not tell the truth to Richard as she doesn't want him to be guilty of the love he showed for three years, as he loves his family more than his life. So, she hid the truth and rejected Richard's love proposal.

The heavy rain became evidence of their separation, and the lightning flashes became evidence of the love that was not killed in their hearts.

Three years back, on a rainy day, Catherine stepped out of the metro train with fear in her eyes and looked at the time. It was already midnight, and she caught hold of her luggage tightly, not knowing whether her friend would come.

She took her mobile and called the number, but the call still needed to be answered from the other side.

"What, Babe! What is your price for one night? Let's go to our house, and we can enjoy time by making our bodies hot in this cold weather. Take these dollars." Brown and Mike, who is twenty-four years old, and with lust in their eyes.

Catherine covered her jacket and looked around to call for help, but the station was empty, and she could not find anyone.

She did not speak anything and tried to go away, but Brown lit a cigar and caught hold of her hands by saying that she was so sexy that he could not take his eyes off her and asked Mike to take away her bag.

Within the next minute, Mike twisted Catherine's hand, which made her shout and request him to leave the bag, as her future was in the bag.

"Beauty, We don't want that bag, but your beauty. Why don't you understand us and make us enjoy ourselves? We will leave that bag if you kiss us with your red lips. What do you say?" Brown asked and threw the cigar.

Catherine did not understand what to do and felt she was losing her life, as she didn't want her desire to become a fashion designer to die. So, she surrendered herself to them and requested them to give her the bag with tears.

Mike laughed loudly and asked Brown to keep the cloth in her mouth so that she could not shout after going outside.

After a few minutes, they brought Catherine outside and looked for the vehicle keys but could not find them.

Mike shouted for Brown to open the door quickly as if someone might catch them.

"Oh, God! The keys might have fallen in the station. Go and search where they are there." Brown shouted with irritation.

Mike ran inside, and time passed, but he did not come outside. As every second passes by, the tension in Brown increases, and looked at Catherine, who is sweating.

The power disconnected suddenly, and a heavy sound came when someone hit the car forcibly.

Catherine shouted with fear and, crying, thinking that something had happened. Brown took the rifle from his pocket and called Mike's name but did not get any reply.

After a few seconds, someone touched Catherine's shoulders, and she repeatedly shouted, requesting to leave her, as she came only to study.

"It's OK. You can open your eyes, as no threat is there now to you." A voice said and asked his men to transfer bodies to Police Station.
