To protect himself, Kevin William entered into a covenant with the eldest son of the Valtor family - Lay Valtor: before the proclamation of the will, for a year, Kevin William would pretend to be his lover. Kevin has just been lazy and lulled in the house, when he is not coldly pulled by the lying Lay Valtor into a fight full of insidious intrigue. An ordinary doctor, in the demon world he was full of injuries, until the end, he understood that turning into a demon for survival was just a fallacy. Whether because of love or simply a contract, as soon as he swore not to believe the word of the devil, the demon began to change for him.

Chapter 1 Secret's out first

The hospital door opened, and the white light and the smell of antiseptic permeated by the cold night wind dissipated. Kevin William took a deep breath; the cold air rushed in, making his mind suddenly clear after several hours of struggling with the surgery. Raising his hand to pull up the collar of his shirt, he pulled his head back into the deep darkness.

It's too bad Kevin William is enjoying his last day here; tomorrow, he will go to Washington. But his reasons differ from those of young people attracted to the glamor of vanity.

Just yesterday, he was an ordinary doctor in the emergency department of a small town hospital. Miami is crowded with a quiet pace of life, and the night shift can raise a pillow to sleep well without fear of being woken up by a particular change. But suddenly, appeared last night, the boss of a gangster, after a fierce gun battle, was brought to his place and unfortunately passed away. This person is nearly sixty, so severely injured, it's strange to be alive! However, the other gang wanted him to take responsibility and even issued an order to hunt him down, which was excellent.

Kevin William doesn't care about this. If he wants to kill, he can, anyway; he has no home, no relatives, and at most, he has an extra hole in his head; eighteen years later, he returns to being a good man. That's why the hospital storm in a teacup. Kevin William secretly understood that he was soon carrying a torch with him, but because he usually didn't make any mistakes, it was difficult for them to take action. Now that's good; how can he live in peace if people don't hold him? Sure enough, the director called Kevin William into the room, and without waiting for him to ramble, he immediately presented the prepared resignation letter.

Receiving the application, the director's face flashed with joy, making Kevin William bored; he was about to turn around. Still, the director called him back, thrusting a business card into his hand. Kevin William glanced at it – "Tom Louis, a private hospital at 174 La Vie Rose Street, Washington".

"Young people often like to struggle in large places, rushing to make money, right? With your ability, this tiny hospital will be destroyed … Since I have a friend in Washington who opens a private hospital in need of a qualified doctor, I recommend you to him, for salary. Well, if it weren't for the matter of my wife and my children, I would have been there", the director warmly.

Kevin William accepted the business card from the director, politely saying, "Thank you."

As soon as he got out the door, he stuffed it in his coat pocket. He sighed. He did not want to be in a place that was too busy, had a high salary, career advancement, or something; his wish was to work in a peaceful place, live comfortably… He must ask if there was any other place where there was a job; relax. Now he wants to go home quickly, put a bowl of noodles, and climb into bed to take a nap. As he walked, Kevin William thought. This place was tiny; at night, there were few people on the street; he pulled up his collar and put his chin on. The chilly autumn wind gently blew past.

After walking a few steps, he saw the shadow of the inn, was about to cross the road, and suddenly saw a few cars stopped not far away; Kevin William stopped, instinctively hiding in a corner. An ostentatious three-door Cadillac, a luxury driver, was in front of the two black Mercedes-Benz cars. Why does Miami have a vehicle like this? Why are those supercars parked under his motel room for no reason?

Curious from the corner, Kevin William saw several people dressed in black with sunglasses standing next to two Mercedes Benzs. He stiffened his throat, internally shouting, "Afraid that people won't recognize you as a gangster? Late at night with sunglasses on, be careful of falling!"

Mumbling a few sentences, he saw "Men in Black([1])" open the door of the Cadillac, and a man in a black coat got out of the car. At a glance, Kevin William couldn't help but admire it, and this must be a tycoon; it seemed like a group of tycoons!

He was in a hurry when the other person seemed suspicious of something, turning his head around. Kevin William quickly hid behind the wall and lightly stroked his chest, his eyes still showing the image of him looking away. This person doesn't wear glasses, and although he can't see his face clearly, his eyes are scary. Kevin William nervously stood close to the wall for a moment; seeing that there seemed to be no movement there, he cautiously peered down to watch; the Men in Black had all gone up, leaving only the elegant Boss leaning on the car door lit a cigarette.

Kevin William exhaled softly; he turned around, in his heart, weighing what the next step should be. Those mafias are probably waiting for him. At this time, don't you have to stick your nose in front of the muzzle of the gun yourself? He had better avoid it. Just about to escape, the air was filled with the faint smell of tobacco; Kevin William did not smoke, so he was susceptible to this smell. He suddenly felt nervous, suggesting to himself that it was not right…

Thinking back and forth, Kevin William decided to face it actively rather than just wait to die. Good or bad, he has to beat that SWAT guy before he dies. Thinking clearly, then putting his hand behind his back… Touching something, Kevin William loved the janitor at the park so much, leaving such a big broom for him! Holding his weapon, Kevin William stood against the wall, waiting, looking down at the ground as if a figure was approaching.

Kevin William stopped breathing and took a deep breath, mumbling the count. "One… two… three…." Just counting to three, suddenly feeling the atmosphere around him become abnormal, Kevin William jumped up with all his strength. In the middle of the night, Kevin William, even though he was mentally prepared, was still panicking; more, the other black-robed man had not been able to calm down and was threatened by him for a moment, momentarily stunned. Kevin William waved the broom, without straying, across the target's face.

The janitor uses the broom of this park to clean up the dog poop left behind by people, that is… getting caught in this, let alone Men in Black; even aliens have to fall back.

The man quickly raised his hand, and although he blocked the broom, the dirt and dust splashed all over his face. The man in the black shirt frowned; Kevin William lifted his foot and stepped on the opponent's thigh, causing him to retreat a few steps and then run away because he was familiar with the road, so he quickly fled into a residential area and turned into a few empty alleys.

Kevin William was going to step on the other person's sensitive place but stopped; being a human should also accumulate some merit! But at a glance, he still saw him clearly, with a cigarette in his mouth, a substantial body… terrifyingly handsome, a delicate nose…

"The young master." A couple of people in black came running down from upstairs next to the other, holding a photo in hand. "I don't see him anywhere, only the picture on his business card."

Brushing off the dust from his shoulders, the man looked at the photo he had received from his subordinates; Kevin William had just graduated from college two years ago, only twenty-five years old this year, still looking like a student. The young guy in a white shirt, looking sloppy in the photo, is the same guy wearing a white coat earlier, holding a broom, and hitting people.

"Phi." The man laughed, stuffed the photo in his pocket, and said, "Secret's out first."

"Yes." The subordinates nodded, got into the car, and left.

Kevin William panicked and ran a long distance before sitting down and panting, and his stomach told me that he was in trouble; he had never encountered such a painful thing. He touched the money bag. Fortunately, he brought a wallet. Inside there was an ID card with a credit card, there were only a few electrical appliances and a notebook in the house... Forget it, and it's dangerous to return now; keep the one small life first. Again rummaging around to see if there was anything, Kevin William touched something, a business card.

"OH." Kevin William rubbed his chin thoughtfully and nodded. "Okay, let's find a place to weather this storm!"

He stood up, patted his butt to find an internet cafe, bought a cake in the nightlife, then went to a video shop all night, let the aliens beat Men in Black, and slashed hundreds of hits!

Early the following day, Kevin William bought six fried dumplings and hurried to the bus stop, choosing the earliest trip to Washington. After eating the dumplings, his eyes narrowed, and he leaned back on the chair and drifted off to sleep.

The car sped for three hours, finally reaching the busy city of Washington. Kevin William was woken up; he got out of the car to go to the toilet, washed his face with cold water, fixed his hair, put his hands in his pockets and walked to the bus station, bought a map, asked for the location of 174 La Vie Rose Street, from taking the subway to the bus, finally arrived in front of the hospital.

Right now, around ten o'clock, in front of the hospital's door hangs a "working" sign.
