Kayla's POV

Kayla we are running late" I heard mom's voice from outside

"Am done mum" I said as I moved outside

I got into the car and the driver ignited the engine.

Hmmm, today am gonna start living with friends I don't know of, wait did I say Friends, oh no I mean people.

I don't know maybe I should be sad, happy or anxious.

I just felt anyhow

I'm gonna miss mum and dad especially mum, my gist partner.

Well it's fine.

It was getting bored so I took out my phone and started pressing it.

I saw Sophie's message, she is asking me about my new school, I replied her then dozed off.

"Kayla wake up, we are there" mum's gentle tap woke me up.

I rubbed my face and yawned lazily before stretching my whole body.

I opened the door and moved out.

"Woow" I muttered as I saw the magnificent building.

The school was decorated heavily and oh my the hostels were really good.

After the necessary procedures, the driver moved all my belongings into the hostel.

I learnt that my roommates are three and they weren't around as they went to a party the night before.

Mom was shocked as she heard this and she called me apart

"Kayla I don't think you will be able to stay in that hostel" she wisphered as she looked towards the hostel

"No mum, I will be able to cope, I like the setting, don't worry about me mum, I will be fine" I said flashing my most beautiful smile

"Are you sure?" She asked again

I nodded affirmatively,

"Okay if that be the case, I leave you in God's hands, my darling remember the daughter of whom you are....

"Ugghh, I grinned mum and this her talk

"Mum, you've said this before we left home, you know I always obey you and that's why am here"

"It's alright darling, take good care of yourself and make sure you call me when you settle down"

"Alright mum, love you"

"Love you too, bye darl" she said and waved at me before she got into the car.

I waved back until the car was out of sight.

I walked back into the hostel and started arranging my clothes into the wardrobe.

Yes you heard me right, 'The wardrobe'

The room was big enough, it contains four big beds each on different angles.

There was a place where book were kept, a lamp stand, a reading table, a shoe rank and many more.

When I was done arranging my shoes, clothes and bags, I walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

"OMG" I exclaimed as I walked into the bathroom, the toilet was sparkling, there was a jacuzzi, a bathtub big enough to contain two people.

I looked around for 5 minutes before taking my shower.

I dried myself with the towel and walked back into the room.

I wore a bumb short and a crop top, I put on the A.C got on my bed and started pressing phone.

Then Betty's call came in , Betty was my best and closest friend back then in Secondary

"Kayla baby, how are you doing, what's upping?

"I'm good darl, what about you?"

"Well I'm good too, mum told you're already in your school, why didn't you tell me"

"I'm so sorry baby, I totally forgot, mum's problem alone is something"

"Really, what happened?"

"Can you believe she changed my choice of school and now I'm stock here with some strangers, like I'm really upset"

"Oh my sorry sweetie, but how is that environment, I mean the hostel and all"

"Well I think considering that fact that they have well organized and equipped hostel, I think I will be able to stay, you know I don't know what my roommates are like, are they terrorist, are they prostitute are they snubish......."

"Kayla c'mon stop. Why would you be thinking such a bad thing. Anyhow anyways I know you're gonna be fine, I'm sure of that"

"Well thanks darling, but if I'm not comfortable here I'm gonna raise an alarm, so you guys can carry me"

"Lol, you're such a funny girl, no problem, I gat your back"

"Well, well, I trust you, so how is everyone, how is Derrick?"

"Hmmm, Derrick is there, a popular handsome guy of mine, those girls won't let him be, but you know I do not lose guard"

"Awww, Betty mama, I trust you"

"Well there was this girl, what's her name, oh I've forgotten, she wanted to do something funny.

I was in his house in the morning around 6am, cause he called me he wasn't feeling fine so I went over to check on him.

I was in the kitchen and he was in the living room watching football as usual.

Then all of a sudden a knock was heard, I was like who will be here early this morning, I decided not to open the door, I told Derrick to do so.

When he did, you won't believe this girl wore only a revealing Crop top and a short bum short....."

"What, why would she wear such a thing"

"Seduction of course, I decided to remain in the kitchen at least to listen to what she has to say, then I heard something like Derrick I'm feeling horny so I felt you could help me out, I was like what!!!! How dare you, but I kept calm and wanted to listen to what Derrick had to say.

And that was it, I don't deal with ugly girls like you, you are even stinking, even your presence irks me

The girl was totally speechless and she almost broke into tears when I moved out and said ,And what are you doing here ugly chick, she was totally shocked to see me"

"Oh my goodness, Derrick is so mean, she thought there will be no one around, that's serious, lol" I said

"Well, she moved out crying profusely while bursted into laughter"

"Oh my so funny, Betty please we will talk later, I'm feeling sleepy"

"Sure babe do take care of yourself, byeee"

"Bye"I said and hung up

I was about to doze off when I heard footsteps outside the door.
