Chapter 1 IMPATIENCE MADE A TURBULENCE

The day had been beautiful and the sky was like a dome of plasma blue. The clouds had looked like airy anvils drifting under the fluoresce disc of sun but gradually the beautiful sky-blue shade was beginning to darken into gravel grey. The clouds turned churlish and Kraken-cruel and soon droplets of rain began dripping from the sky.

So much rain was cascading that the sound blurred into one long, whirring noise. The people who had been cheerful and chatting on the market road a while ago began running for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the rainfall became heavier.

Amidst all, a woman not more than twenty-three was strolling lifeless along the road. She didn't seem to care about the risk of catching a fever. Her long legs had been walking even through the outpour of the heavy rain. The wind howled in a torrent of rain.

He collected the heartbroken Jia from his wife's arms and instead nudged and encircled his arms around her. Feeling safe and loved, Jia shivered and ferociously sobbed out loud. The couples exchanged meaningful glances and felt bad.

"He denied you again, didn't he?" The man asked her, his clear black eyes had darkened.

"Brother Wooyoung, he said he doesn't want me anymore...he chose her over me...our love, he ditched me....no, no, no...he can't do this to me. I love him" She kept on gasping for air as those words were out. Her nose flared up and her lips twitched.

"Big brother, I want only him...I love only him. Father and Mother said I must let go but I can't....you know how much I love him. Only you understand me"

Woo young shared a look with his wife and sighed.

Her eyes burned with fire, she was literally burning in a furnace.

"Tell that guy, he is dead to me and like his cheater of a brother, I never want to see him ever again" Before they could say a word, she had taken to her heels and left the house. She walked recklessly on the muddy hill and unaware of the pothole by the side, her leg suddenly tripped from the slippery fall.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" She screamed and instantly shut her eyes tightly and waited for the big fall.
