A young man is stabbed the night his sister goes missing and his parents are murdered in their home as they slept
It was a warm summer night , when he returned home. "Mom , dad ?" , James called as he entered his darkened home. He tried turning on the lights but nothing happened. As James strolled through the house looking for his parents , he stopped to answer a text as he headed upstairs. It was his girlfriend , Amanda checking to see that he made it home safely. He replied to her text and returned his phone to his pocket.
Upon reaching the top of the stairs he heard a small creak come from his parents room. He approached the door with caution , he peaked inside his parents room. That's when he saw something he would never forget. James jumped up out of his sleep and looked around only to realize it was all a dream. It had been 3 years since the murder of his parents happened but he was still having the same nightmare , forcing himself to relive it over and over again. He looked over to see Amanda sleeping peacefully next to him as she did every time he had this nightmare.
James tried to slide out of bed without disturbing Amanda, as he had done many nights before. Without ever opening her eyes she simply said , "Did you have that nightmare about your parents again ?" , To which he replied , "I thought you were sleeping ? , I didn't mean to disturb again." She sat up in bed and switched on her bedside lamp. "James ?" , She questioned , "Have you been taking your pills?" , James looked down before responding , "They aren't helping anymore the nightmares are happening more often now." Just at that moment his phone rang. It was a call from Agent Sanders of the FBI. James answered his phone. He said , "Have you found any clues or come any closer to finding her ?" Agent Sanders exhaled deeply before replying , "We haven't found her yet , but we received a tip about a young woman matching her description." James looked up with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. He responded , "thank you." Then hung up the phone. Amanda asked , " What's going on ? , Have they found her ? , Have they figured out what happened to her ? , "Or figured out who took her ?"
The next morning they awakened , James rolled out of bed at the sound of his alarm. Quickly he shut off his alarm trying not to disturb Amanda as she slept. He then looked at Amanda with her beautiful long brown hair , he perfectly rounded jaw , with her smooth skin that was blemish free. She was a perfect bronze color. Whereas James was muscular the slender type , you know your average 6'4 former college athlete , six pack , chiseled chin , sexy bronze skin that glistened in the light. James looked good enough to be a Male model. Amanda looked like she belonged on the cover of a magazine. James thought himself to be the luckiest man alive. All he could do was stand by the bedside watching her in amazement as she slept , thinking to himself how happy he would be when they were finally married.
Amanda looked up and asked , "Are you watching me sleep again ?" All James could do was let out a small laugh and respond , "I thought you were asleep , you don't have to be up for another hour." How can I sleep with you staring at me ?" , She muttered back. James kissed her on the forehead and continued getting ready for work. He showered , dressed , then quickly headed out of the door. Amanda watched from the window as he drove down the driveway. She then slipped on her robe and slippers and hurried down to the basement. When she entered the basement she flipped on a light , then proceeded to the room off in the left-hand corner that you wouldn't notice at all if you weren't paying attention. She then grabbed the key she kept hidden in an old cabinet that stood just barely hiding the door she had kept all her secrets in.
When Amanda was done in the basement , she made her way upstairs as quickly as she could. Then she made a pot of coffee as she showered and dressed for work. Her phone began to ring as she finished her coffee. She noticed James was calling. She answered the phone , "hey sweetie" , he then replied , "hey honey , have you left the house yet ?" To which she responded , "I was just getting ready to head out." James then said, "I forgot an important case file I need for work , can you drop it off if you can ?" , she said , "sure I can anything for the man I'm gonna marry , I love you , see you soon." Then she hung up the phone. She noticed the file on the table by the door. She grabbed it as she headed out the door.
They were supposed to have lunch together that afternoon , Amanda was so busy with work after she dropped off his case file she had her assistant cancel. It was fine with James that she had to cancel , he was supposed to meet Agent Sanders at his office at that time anyway. He arrived at his office at 11:45 that morning. James spoke to the woman sitting at the desk in front of him. "I'm here to see Agent Sanders" , James stated , as the woman hung up the phone. She told him , "Have a seat over there and I'll let him know you've arrived." Agent Sanders was a large man , with short curly brown hair , with muscles that made you feel safe when wrapped in his arms , he had a milk chocolate complexion. He was the kind of man that commanded attention when he entered a room. "Mr. Cooper , right this way" , he said as he approached James. The men stepped into his office and closed the door , he offered James a seat. They sat quietly for a moment before Agent Sanders started , "You know we've been searching for your sister since the night your parents were murdered."
He just wanted to let loose after work with a drink , that night would change his life forever and he didn't even realize it

There was only one man in Raegan's heart, and it was Mitchel. In the second year of her marriage to him, she got pregnant. Raegan's joy knew no bounds. But before she could break the news to her husband, he served her divorce papers because he wanted to marry his first love. After an accident, Raegan lay in the pool of her own blood and called out to Mitchel for help. Unfortunately, he left with his first love in his arms. Raegan escaped death by the whiskers. Afterward, she decided to get her life back on track. Her name was everywhere years later. Mitchel became very uncomfortable. For some reason, he began to miss her. His heart ached when he saw her all smiles with another man. He crashed her wedding and fell to his knees while she was at the altar. With bloodshot eyes, he queried, "I thought you said your love for me is unbreakable? How come you are getting married to someone else? Come back to me!"
"Lucien, let's get a divorce," I said in a peremptory tone that was long overdue, the most decisive farewell to this absurd marriage. We had been married for exactly three years-three years that, for me, were filled with nothing but endless loneliness and torment. For three years, the husband who should have stood by my side through every storm, Lucien Sullivan, had completely disappeared from my life as if he had never existed. He vanished without a trace, leaving me alone to endure this empty, desolate marriage. Today, I finally received his message: "I'm back. Come pick me up at the airport." When I read his words, my heart leapt with joy, and I raced to the airport, thinking that he finally understood my love and was coming back to me. But his cruelty was far worse than I could have ever imagined-he was accompanied by a pregnant woman, and that woman was Carla, my closest and most trusted friend. In that moment, all of my previous excitement, all my hope, and all of our shared laughter and tears turned into the sharpest of daggers, stabbing into my heart and leaving me gasping for air. Now, all I want is to escape from this place that has left me so broken-to lick my wounds in solitude. Even if these wounds will remain with me for the rest of my life, I refuse to have anything to do with him ever again. He should know that it was his own hand that trampled our love underfoot, that his coldness and betrayal created this irreparable situation. But when he heard those words, he desperately clung to this broken, crumbling marriage, unwilling to let it end-almost as though doing so could rewind time and return everything to how it used to be. "Aurora, come back. I regret everything!" Regret? Those simple words stirred no emotion in me-only endless sadness and fury. My heart let out a frantic, desperate scream: It's too late for any of this!
