The Groom's Tale

In front of Arexia Mr. Reese Hughbrett Wallace de Franco Lawther Medel was knelt. They are currently on the shores of Valencia beach and the sun slowly approach for night chasm.The sunset painted the sky, a marvelous art. A big smile drew on Reese's lips.

He was so happy knowing his dreams was about to achieve, in a minute it will be on his hands. The dream to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Arexia. At that time they were surrounded by about a hundred people, and most of them were Arexia's friends. Reese slowly opens the sparkling box of a proposal-Engagement ring.

"Will you marry me?" He asked, flashing a wide smile.

Arexia looked at the people around them, as if the woman was thinking of something. It seems that Arexia was feeling awkward of the unexpected event.

How come? Reese is a perfect match, besides being rich and handsome he also has a mammon heart and he's gentle and tender and he knows how to handle a good relationship.

He was an ideal man for every girl. As far as Reese knew many liked him, but he was loyal to his girlfriend. Because he was a man, not a boy.

"Will you marry me?" he asked with a full hopes again.

She bites her lower lip. She didn't know what to say, hell yes or no.

"Say yes Baby!" he said cutely as if pleading Arexia to dance in glee and accept the offer. But damn she wasn't. What's wrong with her.

Arexia quickly snatched the ring and then throw the thing in Reese's face "Decir si Puñeta (Say yes bitch) " Arexia shouted.

"Que diablos Estas Haciendo? (What the hell are you doing)" Reese asked , after picking up the expensive ring.

"Well I'm expecting a ring with a big whistle on it," She rolled her eyes and forced a laugh. They're all burst into laughter, a laugh that could be heard on the other side of the waves. Reese repeatedly swallowed and he hold back his tears.

His heart and soul were exposed. Nor could he escape hearing Arexia's devilish laughter. What went wrong. Long time relationship and ended up in a damn situation. He didn't understand Arexia's attitude, was she cheating on him or is it his money and wealth why the damn Arexia loved him.

Reese was sure his face was as red as blood because of the shame. He feels that he was naked in the middle of them. He stood up and turned away and left them, in a moment his cheeks were wet with tears incessantly dripping.

HE was reminisce those moment and was was interrupted when the bottle of liquor he was holding fell, it was shattered on the Yacht floor. He wiped the wet cheek with his palm. It's been five months but he's still hurting. It is no joke that he and Arexia have been in a relationship for seven years and he is being deceived and will just reject his proposal. She's out of her damn mind. Poor Reese, looks lonesome close in the periphery of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean.

A dark sadness shadowed his face, twin of that sadness the darkness of the sky. He opened the bottle of liquor again, the young man was not stopping to drink. That was probably the only thing that would temporarily cause him to forget the pain that was consuming his being. Alcohol probably brings temporary 'peace of mind' but he couldn't forget and move on of what happened that day. And why the hell he can forget that terrible day in his entire life, he was rejected publicly and he shoulders all the shame and pain. It was his heart that was crying so hard, torn into pieces and it was bleeding, a sign that he was in so much pain that day.

He was depressed. He had been crying for several nights and that could be seen in Reese's swollen eyes. He counted the empty bottle of liquor he had taken, Oh, one one hundred bottles in all. What a Jerk!

Who can explain the pain he feels, his heart ache. His chest was tight, as the grains of tears dripping from his eyes brought heat and pain to his skin.

I'm not worthy to love? question in his mind tempted and it seemed like a sharp arrow had pierced his heart. He felt as if a thousand needles had been inserted into him, to his heart at once.

He threw away the last bottle he was holding, and it was shattered. The young man stood up, undressed and ready to jump off the Yatch and he want to drowning down into the deep sea. He jumped, and slowly he was drowning down to the deep bottom of the Mediterranean sea.

But suddenly hands pulled him up. No strength left for poor Reese. But he was able to open his eyes. Woman and old man saved him, the beautiful maiden smiled at him.

Am I seeing a lovely goddess of the Mediterranean he whispered then he slowly closed his eyes shuttered like a window when night come.
