An Italian Arrangement

"Chrissy!! What the heck you were thinking? Answer the damn phone. It is eating off my my nerves; and be careful,it is your brother, Goerge.",Risha dragged her friend out of her lonely time and shoved the phone at her hands.

"What is the matter,why you are calling this time, you know I am busy.", Chrissy or Christine asked dryly, he had no business with his'stupid' sister.

"I don't care about your lame excuse of work, come home within ten,it is important.", the person named Goerge aka Christine's brother barked over the line.

"No need to shout, I am coming,hold on.", With that, she cut the call, instructed her friend to get the files checked and she herself drove off to the hell she 'mistakenly' considered as home.

Heading straight into her father's office room she asked "Father, why am I summoned here? You know how busy I used to be at these hours"

"Maybe because you do not need to do a job anymore", Octavio aka Christine's 'devil' father chuckled.

"Only if you knew, what job I do..I am the freaking CEO of Aurora Publishers' and Co. you would do something more than disturbing me at my working hours.", she smiled internally.

"So, what's up? Anything important?"

"Yes, you are getting married."

"What! Impossible. I am not marrying any stranger. What am I to you, a puppet? No, whoever you agreed to, just tell them it is not happening. A am barely twenty one father, what were you thinking?" Christine ranted her thoughts and stopped out of breath.

"No, it is fixed, you are getting married tomorrow, sign the contract and the burden is off my shoulders, great is not it Goerge?" the old man turned to his eldest son.

"Yes father, it is. I love how girls shift from one man to another, today she is Cadence, by this time tomorrow she will be Sanchez. Funny, is not it?", he was well aware of the fact that his sister hates such comments.

This time, she pretended not to listen and her cold voice whispered," Who is this guy?"

"Stephan Sanchez, dear sis, do some homework, he is not a very polite man. Goerge smirked and Chrissy rolled her eyes.

"Mark my words,big brother, he will learn to be polite, I am a good teacher. By the way, good night. Looks I have a lot on my plate."

. When she returned at her room, she was surprised at her own behaviour, she had not freaked out yet. Last three years have taught her to be calm and collected at the crisis. And she thanked his devil father and brother for that. After grandma's death she has grown up a lot, she has seen the demonic selves of her family and stood up alone to protect things she really cared about..

"Bring me the whereabouts of Stephan Sanchez, do quick, Cason." she sent a message to her another brother, Cason who was on her side.

With the start of new day Cason barged in," What did you find?"

Stephan is a bad news, Chrissy. He has no respect for women, he is a whore.." , "Really, Goerge's buddy then!" she was cut short," No, enemy, business rivals at real estate."

"I dunno, but our father surely has something under his sleeves," he earned a glare from his sister which meant," Do you think I am blind?"and started again," The Sanchez family is not a healthy place either."

"I can assume, father only has eyes on twisted things..I could run away but I won't, I will bring his Cadence empire down."

"What has it to do with the business, Christine?", Cason was now annoyed," I have seen enough of Cadence Jr. and Senior. Those people are the walking example of fraud, Cass."

"You have got the proves, have not you?", Cason asked his sister, never in his whole lifetime, he imagined Chrissy, the obedient,coward Chrissy will be this smart.

"No. I am still working on it and now this plan has to be stopped, Great!"

"Sister, will you allow me to do this at your absence?"
