The life of a naive girl

"Trish where are you, please come out and help me the things " Trish's mom called her from her room

Mrs Su is business woman. She borrows things from the market and come to sell it. She makes payments to the owners after. Sometimes she carry some of the things sell them to her customers in their houses. She does that to help her husband take care of the family.

"Mom, please I am coming " Trish answered whiles leaving her room. She got out and realize the place was a bit messy and busy. She cleared the place and let her mom attend to the customers.

After they were done serving the customers arranging the place, Trish went to the kitchen to cook. Her mom stayed at the shop to attend to later customers.

In the evening, when her dad came back from work food was already served. He went to take shower first because he was smelling bad. After he was done, they gathered around the table and dig in the food.

Trish cleared the table and washed the dishes. Her siblings elder brother and sister were not around so she had to do everything.

Mr and Mrs Su went to their room to rest while Mathew waits for Trish to finish and help him with his homework.

"honey, how was your day" Mrs Su asked her husband.

"It was good, how about you?" He asked in return.

"Normal, let me give you a little massage to relax yourself" Mrs Su gave her husband a massage because his work is stressful.

Mr Su is a company driver. He normally go on long distance errands for the company which gives him waist pain. They had a conversation for a while before sleeping.

"Mathew let's start doing your homework "

"Sis, tomorrow is weekend so we can do it during the day. What do you think?" Math said with a smile try. He wants to watch television and sleep after that.

"I will be busy tomorrow and the day after tomorrow as well" she wasn't lying. She does goes for classes on Saturdays and help her mum when she close. On Sundays after church she relax a little before helping her mom. "alright" Mat said with a sad expression. He knows his sister is in the senior year.

He wen for his book and Trish help him with the homework. They headed to bed after that.

The next day Trish woke up early to wash and do her house chores. She went to take her bath, after she went back to her room to rest and wait for her dad. Her dad sends her to school every Saturday morning before going to work.

Around 7:00am there was a knock on her door. "Dear, breakfast is ready, come out eat before you go " her mom woke her up. After breakfast Trish and her dad hop in the company car and left.

About 20minutes later they arrived at the school. She said goodbye to the dad and alight from the car.

She went to the teachers quarters for the class key and swept. She arranged the class before sitting down. Classes starts at 9:00am but it was 8:10am. She took her notebooks and started going through.

Students started coming around 8:40am. Around 8:50am the class began to get full. They were in their senior year so everyone was well behave except the notorious ones at the back.

None of Trish's girl mates sat beside her because some of them hate her for being beautiful making them not get the attention of the guys. Some ladies too are afraid of her because she is strong. Many guys approached Trish with a romantic offer but she just bounced them. She had no idea about what it means to be in a romantic relationship. What she thought they all approached her for was friendship.

She is an introvert, she finds it hard to associate herself with her peers.

Trish does sports, reading or write stories to keep herself busy. She is pretty good in all. She has a lot of written stories by her but never published. She is always keeping things to herself.

One of the notorious boys who is not afraid of Trish sat beside her when lessons officially began.

The were quiet through out the lesson. During break, he decided to make conversation with her. He tapped her a little on the shoulder.

" Hello, my name is Victor...."

"Okay" Trish answered looking at him.

"Can we be friends "

"Errrrrrm...." She has no idea how to answer him.

The guy talked for so long but Trish was not feeling the vibe at all. Not long long after class continued. Break was only 20minutes.

Classes closed at 1:20pm.

She then bid farewell to the guy and left. She had to trot home because she has no money to take a bus.

When she got home, she took her bath because she was sweating. She went to eat.

Trish went to relax a little and then went to the shop to help sell.

"Dear, tomorrow I will be going to the market but thode bought things on credit haven't paid yet. Please take this list and go collect the money for me." Mrs Su told her daughter.

Trish took the list of names left. She went house by house, even those who were not home she waited for them to get home. She made sure they all paid. She enjoy collecting money from them.

Most of the people like her a lot because of her braveness.

She collected all the money and left.

On her way home she met some friends her parents. They gifted her money. She gave the list and the money she collected from the debtors to her mom.

She went straight to her room and added the money she was given to her savings. She hide the savings well before leaving the room.
