Her Grumpy Neighbor

Hailey stares hard at Tiana who walked into the sitting room as she slumps herself on a couch

" Don't tell me the food is not ready" Hailey said pouring popcorns into her mouth

"Well unfortunately it's not " Tiana muttered diverting her eyes to the television

" What the hell are you cooking? It's rice not beans for goodness sake and it's been over 20 minutes, do you want me to die of hunger " Hailey shrugged still pushing popcorns into her mouth

" You behaves as if you're the only one who's hungry, do you think I'm a machine, you sat down here watching television not even coming out to help and you expects me to speed everything like a robot, besides you've eaten two packs of popcorn so I still don't get why you're still hungry " Tiana crossed her arms shaking her head

This is what happen when you have a foodie as a bestfiend

A lazy one at that...

"Whatever, how many minutes do I have to wait now, I'm only using this popcorn to hold up my stomach so you don't come out to meet a corpse " her statement made Tiana laughs so hard that she hold her stomach in pain

Like seriously... Two park of popcorn to hold up a stomach,who does that?

one park will full up her stomach yet this friend of her used two park to hold up her stomach

So interesting ...

" Hey answer me, I said how many minutes do I have to wait now" Hailey threw her a pillow to stop her from laughing

" You will have to wait for an hour unfortunately " she joked earning a glare from Hailey

"Then you want to have a corpse on you " Hailey said

"Well just five minutes the stew will be done, I've cooked rice and fried plantain, all that's left now is the stew so let me have peace, you're not letting me concentrates on this program and you know it's my favorite" Tiana grinned diverting her eyes back to the television

"Whatever it should better be ready in 5 minutes because when I wanted to order food, you're the one who stopped me and offer to cook" Hailey shrugged rolling her two round eyes still popping popcorn into her mouth

Tiana likes cooking and love home made food more so she does the cooking most of the time while Hailey doesn't like being in the kitchen even if she is the one eats more, however she got lucky to have Tiana who's a good cook as a friend so she have nothing to worry about anyway

Tiana moves closer to Hailey and tries to pick some popcorn but Hailey was fast to slapped her hand away

"What are you trying to do? We still have more inside so why don't you go take one if you wanna eat " Hailey said shifting away her popcorn while Tiana just gazed at her in amusement

She was amused. "if I pick one, I won't be able to finish it since food will be ready soon so I just want to share yours with you "

"Madam it's five minutes already, go and check before I die of hunger " Hailey reminded

"Everytime, before I die of hunger and funny enough you've never die of hunger, however I'm waiting for the day you will die of hunger " She scoffed already diverting her steps to the kitchen

"Is it done "Hailey shouted after 30 seconds

"Yes" Tiana answered from the kitchen and Hailey hurriedly enter into the kitchen to help carry the food to the dining

Moments later, the rice, plantain, stew, water and juice (probably for Hailey) was on the dining table

The scent of the stew filled Hailey nostrils, she just can't wait to devour the food

Tiana dished Hailey food first before dishing her own and then started to eat

Hailey glares hard at Tiana and smirked. "Like seriously, you dished this small rice for me to eat, something is not working in you"

She puts in more rice for herself and started eating

"What a foodie you're? but still I can't see any changes in you, you're not even fat" Hailey scoffed and resumes her food

Hailey is not that fat even after all the food she consumes.. Well she's not too thin either

Let's say she get the perfect stature

"Table manners, young lady ". Hailey said with mouthful of food in her mouth

Tiana finishes up her food in 10 minutes, while Hailey is still on her own

Hailey eats very slowly even though she's a foodie

Tiana packed up her plates, entered the kitchen and placed it in the sink

"Drop it, I will wash everything after I'm done". Hailey shouted after her

"Well you should. " Tiana said going back to the living room to continue watching her program

After a while, Hailey was also done eating thus joined her in the living room after washing the plates

"Let's listen to some music. " Hailey changed the Chanel after they ended the program

" Kelly will be here within an hour. " Hailey hummed looking at the wall clock

"Today is Sunday, can't you just stay home, you want to leave me home alone again, you went out together yesterday. " Tiana frowned realising she will be bored on her own again today

"Well was I the one who told you not to get yourself a boyfriend, that's why I told you to get a boyfriend that will keep your company. "

" Well what should I do since I have not met my heartrobe " she sighed

"I think that will be your national anthem till you turn 40" Hailey laughed earning a glare from Tiana

"Screw that, you will still be going out right. "

" Of course, nothing will stop me, when you get your heartrobe too, you will understand and how about you follow us if you don't want to be left alone. " She offered

"Why will I go with you when you're going out with your boyfriend, I shouldn't be an intruder, I don't wanna be a third party. " she said rejecting her offer

"So will you be fine... "

"Sure I will be. " she nodded stopping her from completing her words

"I seriously don't get why you kept turning all those guys that asked you out down, you're one hell of a character. "Hailey Shooks her head while Tiana said nothing

After about an hour of watching music video, Hailey rushed inside to get dressed as Kelly will be arrives any moment from now

Few moments later, Kelly arrived, parking his car outside, he entered to see Tiana watching T. V alone

"Hi Kelly"Tiana acknowledged his presence after he took a seat

"What's up Tiana? Where is Hailey ? " Kelly asked

"She's inside getting dressed, will be out soon. "

And just then, Hailey came out looking beautiful with her gorgeous dress

"Babe. " Kelly stood up and pecked her cheeks while she reciprocated by hugging him

"You looked beautiful. " he complimented making her blushed

"You looked handsome too, shall we go "Hailey winked

"What about Tiana, she will be bored or will you go chill with us" Kelly offered facing Tiana

"No, i'm fine you both have fun." she smiled

"I told her before but she declined, see you then baby girl. " Hailey said as she goes out with Kelly

They entered into the car and then drives off

Tiana watch them go and sighed

Is there a day she will really find her heartrobe.. Well there is but why is it taking so long

She gave a loud sigh as the electricity was taken, now she will be really bored

She goes inside her room and clunged herself hard on her bed

She doesn't share a room with Hailey as they both rented a two bedroom apartment, so they both have their room seperately

She closed her eyes going into dreamland immediately

Tiana opened her eyes due to horning of cars she was hearing

She checked the time and realized she have been asleep for two hours

She goes to the living room and peeped at the window

She saw Mr Williams , their neighbor and some men who helped in packing their stuffs in the vehicles

She couldn't been more happy as she watched them

Finally at last.....

Well Mr Williams and his wife are one hell of a couple

They shout and fight every single day

Sometimes even in the middle of the night ,they will throw things at each other and have a severe fight, it's noise every time not letting them have a single peace

The last one they had was pretty bad which triggered the notice they got from the landlord to exit the house as soon as possible

she sometimes wondered if they get married on an arranged marriage, they saw each other, loved each other before getting married so why all the useless fights?

Anyway it's good they are finally leaving,

Imagine getting worn out all day and when you're supposed to rest in your home, you won't be able to because of unnecessary arguments between couple, now that will not happen anymore

Anyway.. Why is Hailey not back yet. ?

She took her phone and started to browse since she doesn't have anything to do anyway, she got bored after a while thus decided to just browse through her books

After reading for a while, she heard car horns again which made her peep through the window, they are already done packing and are finally leaving, she resumes her reading and just then the electricity came back on, she dropped the books and started to watch T. V

"Hey "Hailey said Tiredly taking a seat

She was so immensed in the T. V that she was not aware when she comes in

" Oh you're back, do you take a cab." asked Tiana

"Nope, Kelly dropped me"..

"Then why didn't he enter with you"Tiana peeped at the window but didn't see any glimpse of his car

" He's busy and have to go" Hailey replied operating her phone

" Mr Williams packed out today, it's not long they left" Tiana said

"Oh finally, I will miss his wife anyway, she's a nice woman just got a jerk as her husband, anyway I got this for you" Hailey passed her a nylon bag filled with pizza and ice cream

Hailey always make it an habit to get her something whenever she goes out

"Thanks" Tiana smiled appreciating her

"Do you have class tomorrow." Hailey asked

"Yes two to be precise, one at 9am and the other one at 12am, what about you?. "

"I have one at 10am and from there I will be going to Kelly's place, we have a birthday party to attend. " she replied

There she goes again, Kelly Kelly Kelly...

Even though Hailey goes out with her boyfriend most of the times, her brain still works perfectly

Tiana studies English language while Hailey studies Business Admin

"I will be going to my room"Hailey yawned going inside

Jamal ties a towel around his waist drying his wet hair, just then his phone started to ring, he picked it up after checking the caller

"Yes" his voice coming out calmly

"Hey man, I find the perfect house for you, I will arrange for all the house furnitures you will be needing to be brought there tomorrow, you can move in anytime you like since I've taken all the necessary steps, I will text you the address " The caller's voice coming out agile

" Okay" he said

"So how are you going it to make it up to me, I goes through the trouble of finding a house for you and... "

He hunged up the phone before he could finished his words

Having a talkative as a friend can be really stressful and annoying

He then resumes drying his hair.
