Dozy, Jasmine Farley opened her eyes. She was in piercing pain, as if her whole body had been crushed. She even felt like her heart was about to stop beating.

She stared blankly at the ceiling of the bamboo tent, a little dumbfounded at the familiar surroundings. She remembered herself having her coming-of-age ceremony in the Farley Clan. How come did she wound up at the Beast Mountain?

She then remembered with a befuddled mind that during the ceremony, a group of killers from the Nether had broken in. In an emergency, she had taken a fatal sword strike for her best friend, Laney Farley. And her life had been at stake!

"Jasmine, you're awake?"

A bright voice reached her ears. The next second, Jasmine was pressed hard down by Parker, who then planted a series of kisses on her neck.
