With one finally breath, I raise my hand up and slap him across the cheek. I would've bitch slapped him but I only met him today and his face is too pretty for me to mess up. The whole crowd gasp at what I just did. Even I'm surprise at what I just did. Good thing is, I've got his attention. Bad thing is, he's glaring straight at me, piercing into my soul. Oh dear lord, have mercy. Author: Pa Chia Her Publisher:EasyReading
"Hi! Can you show me where-" I stop mid-sentence when the girl I was talking to walk away with her friends discussing something about midterms.
I frown at how she just ignored me. Rude.
My smile lit up when I see another brunette girl opening up her locker. I approach her politely, "Hi there! I'm new here and I don't know where-"
"I don't care." She groaned and slammed her locker shut, causing me to jump back in surprise. Then she walked away from me after readjusting her backpack.
Okay, do I have a sign on my forehead that says ignore me? Because that's what everyone seems to be doing.
Suddenly, a loud sound rings throughout the whole school for a few seconds causing everyone to quickly shuffle around me. I try to move out of their way but it's not working out so well when I'm in the middle of the hallway and everyone is rushing to class.
A boy ran towards me with determination in his eyes - determination to get to class on time. He quickly run past me, shoveling me out of his way causing me to lose my balance which resulted in my ass landing straight on the floor along with the rest of the paper I was holding in my hand.
A whimper escaped my mouth as the pain hits my butt.
I looked around me to see if anyone saw me landing on the floor. To my luck, no one is in sight. I mean, no one. Not even a single fly. The hallways are deserted and quiet. I'm the only one here while everyone is in class already. Great, now how am I supposed to find my first period class?
That's what you get for coming to a private school, Chloe - that stupid voice says in the back of my mind. But honestly, it's right.
I think I would've made some friends by now if I had gone to a public regular high school instead of Montrose Academy private school. This school is full of rich spoiled bratty kids which I'm definitely not. I wonder how mom got me in this school in the first place.
Sighing, I got on my knees and pick up all the papers on the floor. Suddenly, a dark shadow appears above me causing me to tilt my head up to see who it is.
Standing in front of me are three guys - probably the most handsome boys I've ever met. But one of them stood out to me the most. He's standing in the middle of the other two guys. He had light brown hair that looks so soft from where I'm standing. His hazel eyes stare directly at me, amused. His jaw perfectly outlines his face. Overall, he's the most good-looking guy I've ever met. Of course, I would never say that to his face.
As for the other two guys, one has black hair and icy blue eyes while the other have caramel hair with brown eyes.
My heart starts racing when all three guys stare at me. Can't take the tension that's rising anymore, I avoid their eye contact and, suddenly, the floor becomes more interesting to look at.
I see my schedule on the floor in front of me, so reach out to grab it but stopped midway when one of the guys steps on it. My mouth slightly open in surprise. I look up at who it is and, to my surprise, it's the boy with the hazel eyes.
He smirks at my reaction then kneel down with one knee in front of me, causing me to move further back due to the close proximity between us.
It's completely silent. My heart starts racing faster than before as my face starts to heat up when he just stares at me, not saying anything at all.
"Don't forget to mop the floor after you're done," he finally said after a few seconds. I gaped at him in disbelief.
Who does he think I am? The janitor? Me? A janitor?
Still in shock, I watch as he gets up and walks away from me with a satisfied smile. One of the boys follow after him while the one with the icy blue eyes pick up my schedule on the floor and hand it to me with a smile. I stare at him in confusion as to why he's helping me but grab the paper anyway. He follows the other two boys into the hallway.
I stare at their retreating backs, still shocked and confused.

Finding my first period class was hard enough, now I have to find my second period.
Surprisingly, finding the bathroom was not that hard because there's a bathroom in every corner I turn to.
Entering the bathroom, I locked eyes with three girls who seems to be in the middle of a serious stare down. I could sense the tension in the room.
From the looks of it, two girls who both have blonde hair are ganging up on the other girl with dark brown hair who looks anything but scared.
An awkward silence fills the entire bathroom.
"Kimberly, let's go." The two girls walked towards me, locking eyes with me on their way out. I turn back to see the door closing behind them.
"I would've won, you know." I turn back to face the other girl. "My name's Heidi." She offered me a smile.
I smile back. "Chloe."
"So, you're the new senior student. Welcome to Montrose Private Academy, where dreams go to die."
I look at her with furrowed eyebrows.
"Just kidding." She smiles brightly. I force a smile.
The bell starts to ring throughout the school, indicating the end of passing period and the start of class.
"Let's go! We can't be late for class or else we'll be marked tardy or worse: detention." She grimaces at the thought of detention.
She grabbed my hand and run out the door.
