Evil is always just around the corner.
Evil is always just around the corner.
Don't go to the town behind the hills.
You can't speak of it's name without having chills.
When you are playing, don't go up those hills.
In the days, the town looks so quiet and dead.
But in the night, there's a life in that town that can wake up the dead.
Some have left but there are others who decided to stay.
For some reason, they chose to stay.
If you live in the town behind those hills, never let your child out of sight.
The devil reside within that town.
At 3 o'clock he roams the town.
Never let your child out of your sight.
For if the devil found him he'll be forever gone.

Narrator's Pov
"Ah! Ayaw nyang tumigil kaya pinatulan mo nalang! Kaya napilitan ka nalang pagbigyan kasi ayaw ka nyang tantanan?!"
"Diana, ano ba! Sinabi ng wala kaming relasyon! Wala akong ibang babae! Masyado ka lang paranoid!"
"Walang relasyon?! Eh ano 'to?!" Napakawalang hiya mo talaga! Bastos ka!"
"Ano ba?! Nakakasakit ka na ha!"
Their three younger children standing in the corner of the living room, crying. This has been an everyday scenario for them and yet, it still affects them like the first time. The three little kids still crave for the once happy family they remembered.
Hindi naman ganito ang pamilya nila. Masayang pamilya sila noon. Loving parents, a house full of laughter and joy. Kristal De Luna was a talented 4 year old with a wit and intelligence of a grown kid. At an early age she already showed her talent and passion for painting. Arturo is a professor of conceptual arts at Universidad de Antonio. A very prestigious university. He bought everything Kristal could ever needed for her to hone her skills. He even enrolled her to the art classes that Universidad de Antonio conducted for toddlers like his daughter.
Everything went well for Kristal after she enrolled at the university. The kid always had a smile on her face everyday she went home after her classes. She was very happy. Until the nightmare happened. Then one day, everything came crushing down. Arturo was having an affair with one of his colleague and forgot to pick up Kristal to take her home. He was so busy painting his co-professor's body with his own hands and... well, with his tongue.
It was 3 o'clock in the afternoon and everyone in the art class already left. He looked for Kristal's teacher in her office pero kahit ito ay nakauwi na rin. Arturo looked everywhere and even asked all the guards pero hindi nya talaga makita ang anak. As the hours passed he realized one thing. Nawawala si Kristal. Diana arrived at the university at 7 o'clock. They asked everyone and looked in every corner of the university one more time pero wala talaga ang bata. That's when they called the police. And that's when their world started to fall apart.
Kristal was missing for 4 months. They put up missing posters, announced rewards on tv, radio, even on social media and never stopped looking for her. Diana is a rising interior designer. She's starting to make a name for herself but she put her career on hold to search for her child. Arturo filed and indefinite leave which the university granted so he can help with the search for Kristal. The story of the missing 4 year old kid was the hottest, most talked about news for quiet a while. Until one day, a body of a little girl was found in a creek in the near by town. The little girl's naked body was covered in bruises and cuts, obviously tortured. Her head was bashed in and she was missing a nipple.
Diana almost lost her mind when they were taken by the police to the morgue to identify the body.
A 23 year old prodigal son. Covered in tattoos, been in an out of jail for six times for the past 5 years. Already had 4 illegitimate children to 4 different women whom he's no longer talking to. He doesn't even have the smallest idea where his children are. He doesn't care. A once aspiring singer and song writer is now a gang leader with a cold heart and emotionless face who only sees the world as his own personal hell.
"And you, Carl? Where have you been? Anong akala mo sa pamamahay na ito? Bakasyunan mo? Tau-tauhan mo?!"
"Family? You're kidding me, right?"
"Carl! Bumalik ka dito! Kinakausap pa kita!!"
"Let him be." And that's Carla, 20 years old, a model and a senator's mistress.
"Oh great, and the mistress' here."
"Nice gun, Mom. Come on kids, stop crying and fix yourselves. Let's go to the mall."
It's obvious that both of you are no longer happy being together. So why not go your separate ways?
"How would i know the importance of family if my own father killed my little sister?"
"I didn't kill her!"
"Sure, you didn't torture her, dehumanized her and raped her. Your hands and tongue were just all over your mistress' body enough for you to forget about your own daughter's well being. Yeah, you didn't bashed her head in, Dad, but it's still your fault she's dead."
"I can't do this anymore."
"Yeah, leave. Avoid the confrontation. So fatherly of you."
"That's enough both of you."
"Tss! Whatever. I'm out of here.
Carla watched as her father made his way out of the living room. She didn't say much when Kristal went missing until her body was found. But everything changed when they knew about the real reason why his father failed to pick up her sister.
-Flashback-
"Carl! Can you get the door please? I'm cooking!"
"Yeah, i got it sis!"
A woman was standing on their doorstep, obviously anxious and nervous.
"Can i help you?"
"Your family and i needs to talk. Call your Mom but don't tell your father."
"Wala si Dad dito miss, teka, who are you?"
"I know thay your father's not here. Call your Mom. She needs to know the truth."
"You and your Mom needs to know the truth."
"Carl? What's the matter?- Ah, uhm... Excuse me? Who are you?"
"I'll start talking once your Mom's here. Your Dad's not gonna be here until later so we have all the time in the world to discuss important matters. Call your Mom, sweetheart."
"Excuse me? Who the hell do you think you are to demand and command us inside our own home?
"Don't you wanna know the real reason why your father failed to pick up Kristal? The real reason why your sweet little sister is dead?"
"You can do that but then you'll never know what really happened."
"What the hell! Fine! I'll call Mom!"
-End of Flashback-
That's when they learned about the truth. That the father they looked up to is not who they thought he is. That he's a lying, cheating, neglectful man.
"He's my husband and i love him. But i just can't get past the truth that he's infidelity caused us your sister's life."

I sat on the cold tile floor of our Upper East Side penthouse, staring at the two pink lines until my vision blurred. After ten years of loving Julian Sterling and three years of a hollow marriage, I finally had the one thing that could bridge the distance between us. I was pregnant. But Julian didn't come home with flowers for our anniversary. He tossed a thick manila envelope onto the marble coffee table with a heavy thud. Fiona, the woman he'd truly loved for years, was back in New York, and he told me our "business deal" was officially over. "Sign it," He said, his voice flat and devoid of emotion. He looked at me with the cold detachment of a man selling a piece of unwanted furniture. When I hesitated, he told me to add a zero to the alimony if the money wasn't enough. I realized in that moment that if he knew about the baby, he wouldn't love me; he would simply take my child and give it to Fiona to raise. I shoved the pregnancy test into my pocket, signed the papers with a shaking hand, and lied through my teeth. When my morning sickness hit, I slumped to the floor to hide the truth. "It's just cramps," I gasped, watching him recoil as if I were contagious. To make him stay away, I invented a man named Jack-a fake boyfriend who supposedly gave me the kindness Julian never could. Suddenly, the man who wanted me gone became a monster of possessiveness. He threatened to "bury" a man who didn't exist while leaving me humiliated at his family's dinner to rush to Fiona's side. I was so broken that I even ate a cake I was deathly allergic to, then had to refuse life-saving steroids at the hospital because they would harm the fetus. Julian thinks he's stalling the divorce for two months to protect the family's reputation for his father's Jubilee. He thinks he's keeping his "property" on a short leash until the press dies down. He has no idea I'm using those sixty days to build a fortress for my child. By the time he realizes the truth, I'll be gone, and the Sterling heir will be far beyond his reach.
The rain assaulted the glass, mirroring the storm inside me. For three years, I, Vivian Sterling, played the perfect wife to Julian Kensington, draining my life. The antique clock ticked, a reminder of time lost. Then, I found it: a blonde hair on Julian's suit, reeking of Midnight Rose, and a text, ""Candy: You left your cufflinks on my nightstand. I'm already missing you."" My world shattered, revealing his betrayal. This was just the beginning. I exposed Julian's fraud and his family's violent plots, surviving assassination. But their malice stole my past. Then Alexander Vance, my protector, uncovered a terrifying truth: my birth mother was alive, held captive by a shadowy order. My life was a lie, built to shield me from my dangerous bloodline. I found strength and love with Alexander, the man who walked into fire for me. Yet, as I prepared to rescue my mother, a new life stirred within me, a secret threatening to complicate the impending war.

I died on a Tuesday. It wasn't a quick death. It was slow, cold, and meticulously planned by the man who called himself my father. I was twenty years old. He needed my kidney to save my sister. The spare part for the golden child. I remember the blinding lights of the operating theater, the sterile smell of betrayal, and the phantom pain of a surgeon's scalpel carving into my flesh while my screams echoed unheard. I remember looking through the observation glass and seeing him-my father, Giovanni Vitiello, the Don of the Chicago Outfit-watching me die with the same detached expression he used when signing a death warrant. He chose her. He always chose her. And then, I woke up. Not in heaven. Not in hell. But in my own bed, a year before my scheduled execution. My body was whole, unscarred. The timeline had reset, a glitch in the cruel matrix of my existence, giving me a second chance I never asked for. This time, when my father handed me a one-way ticket to London-an exile disguised as a severance package-I didn't cry. I didn't beg. My heart, once a bleeding wound, was now a block of ice. He didn't know he was talking to a ghost. He didn't know I had already lived through his ultimate betrayal. He also didn't know that six months ago, during the city's brutal territory wars, I was the one who saved his most valuable asset. In a secret safe house, I stitched up the wounds of a blinded soldier, a man whose life hung by a thread. He never saw my face. He only knew my voice, the scent of vanilla, and the steady touch of my hands. He called me Sette. Seven. For the seven stitches I put in his shoulder. That man was Dante Moretti. The Ruthless Capo. The man my sister, Isabella, is now set to marry. She stole my story. She claimed my actions, my voice, my scent. And Dante, the man who could spot a lie from a mile away, believed the beautiful deception because he wanted it to be true. He wanted the golden girl to be his savior, not the invisible sister who was only ever good for her spare parts. So I took the ticket. In my past life, I fought them, and they silenced me on an operating table. This time, I will let them have their perfect, gilded lie. I will go to London. I will disappear. I will let Seraphina Vitiello die on that plane. But I will not be a victim. This time, I will not be the lamb led to slaughter. This time, from the shadows of my exile, I will be the one holding the match. And I will wait, with the patience of the dead, to watch their entire world burn. Because a ghost has nothing to lose, and a queen of ashes has an empire to gain.
From childhood, Stephanie knew she was not her parents' real daughter, but out of gratitude, she turned their business into a powerhouse. Once the true daughter came back, Stephanie was cast out-only to be embraced by an even more powerful birth family, adored by three influential brothers. The second ruled the battlefield. "Stephanie's sweet and innocent; she would never commit such crimes. That name on the wanted list is just a coincidence." And the youngest controlled the markets. "Anyone who dares bully my sister will lose my investment." Her former family begged for forgiveness-even on TV. Stephanie stood firm. When the richest man proposed, she became the woman everyone envied. The eldest ran the boardroom. "Cancel the meeting. I need to set up the art exhibition for my sister!" The town was turned upside down.
For three years, Averie pushed herself through a secret marriage, waiting for the day she could finally wear a white dress and be seen as his wife. The night before she could finally walk down the aisle, he confessed without a hint of hesitation that he was marrying the woman who once rescued him instead. The "fake" divorce agreement she signed for him shattered into a real, icy breakup that finally freed her wounded heart. When he returned in remorse, begging for just one more chance, a ruthless business magnate pulled Averie close and muttered coldly, "You're too late. She's my woman now."
