The Heartless Alpha Chapter Nine
Lily POV
The shock I got from seeing Dimitri in my room was nothing compared to the shock of me telling him off. Never in a million years would I have dreamed that I'd be standing in a bedroom alone, in nothing but a towel, giving a big verbal middle finger to the most dangerous Alpha. The idea would have been laughable but here I was, running my big mouth. Maybe you could chalk it up to a weeks worth of stress but I think I preferred a lifetimes. It was as if something in me had snapped and all the years of being treated like s**t had finally bubbled up and boiled over at the worst possible time. This was not the bear to poke.
Aya had been yelling at me this entire time telling me shut up.
"You're the one who came in here throwing the word mate around. If you really can't understand why that hurt me, then you're a bigger asshole than I thought."
His eyes went flat as he froze at my words.
"What did you say?" He growled.
"Now you've done it." Said Aya.
"You think I'm an asshole?" Dimitri asked. "You have no idea Lily."

The Heartless Alpha Chapter Ten
Lily POV
The way this girl used my title had my back up. Aya snarled in my head, angry at being disrespected. I didn't think I would have this type of reaction, after all, I wasn't technically Luna yet; Dimitri hadn't marked me, and I hadn't been officially made a member of Blood Moon. Even though Dimitri had accepted me at our wedding, we had to exchange blood and oaths, which would be done at my Luna ceremony. Then I would officially be a member, able to mind-link within the pack.
"Who is this b***h to talk to us like that?" Growled Aya.
I fixed Blondie with a glare of my own.
"Well, that's too bad because you got it." I snapped at her.
Her blue eyes turned black before fading to blue again.
"Do you know who I am?" She sneered.
"Do I care?"
"You should." A smug smile appeared on her face. "I'm Dimitris girlfriend."

The Heartless Alpha Chapter Eleven
LILY POV
I gasped. Hazel nodded with sad eyes.
"He hid it very well. I never paid attention to any of the warriors, aside from treating them on occasion. That's why Jennine picks on me. She told everyone that I used James to try and become a higher rank in the pack. A lot of people believed her. They still do."
"Goddess, that's awful! I'm so sorry Hazel." I said.
"Thank you. And Lily, I swear that's not what I'm doing here. I just...I just thought you could use a friend. Goddess knows I could use one. I-"
I held up my hand to stop her and smiled. "Hazel, never once did I get any vibes that you were using me. And I do need a friend. It sucks coming into a new situation and a new home without having anybody. I'm glad you spoke to me today and I'm glad to call you a friend."
"I'm glad to call you a friend too." She smiled.
"And as your friend, I am going to do something for you. Don't ask me what," I said as she opened her mouth, "Just know that I am going to take care of you. And to do that, I need to go see Dimitri."

Chapter 1 Arabella
OMG not again, “RYKER STOP! Ezra, do something, don’t just stand there!” I slammed my body into my brother’s side, knocking him off the guy he was hitting. “I said get off of him Ryker, you’re going to kill him.”
The guy jumped up and started running as soon as Ryker fell to his side.
“Great, there goes my date for tonight. What the heck is wrong with you, he didn’t do anything to you.” I crossed my arms and stared Ryker down.
“He’s not right for you, he’s too weak.”
“That’s not your decision, it’s mine. What would make you think that you have any control over my life? You’re my little brother, remember jerk face.”
“And you,” I pointed at Ezra, “Why didn’t you stop him?”
“Sorry Bell, but I agree with him. That weak little shrimp wasn’t taking you out anywhere. He would have tried something.”
“Stop calling me that, and maybe I wanted him to.” I crossed my arms and squinted my eyes at them.
“Both of you are ridiculous and unbearable. I can’t wait to get out of here.”
Ryker started laughing, “You know it’s not going to happen. Dad’s never going to let you leave, and no one is allowed to touch you except for your mate. You should be happy we’re here to take out the trash. We’re just looking out for you.”
“No, you’re just annoying me.” I threw my hands up and stormed off toward the house. Today’s the day. I’m determined now more than ever to get through to my dad. I need to go to Moonlight Academy.
When I walked into my house, my dad was sitting in the living room. I walked over to him and tried to calm myself down to make my case.

Chapter 1 ¿POR QUÉ
She runs without looking back, the branches of the trees tearing at her clothes, her skin laced with wounds. But her mind implores her not to stop. She must escape; she cannot allow them to capture her again. Darting through the forest, her bare feet are pained, bleeding from numerous injuries, yet she does not halt. Something within drives her onwards relentlessly.
Her life depends on her escape!
After racing through the dense undergrowth, she arrives at a clearing where a vast river flows. Without a moment's hesitation, she plunges into the water—it is her only route to freedom. Unversed in swimming, she clings desperately to a log that materialises in the tumultuous current. The voices of her pursuers echo in the distance; she propels herself with her feet, the current sweeping her along with formidable speed.
She has nearly lost her grip on the log several times. Water floods her mouth repeatedly; she fears she will not last much longer, but a voice inside her head insists she must not give up and persevere. Her body is frozen and begins to go numb as a strange current runs through her skin filling her with heat for moments. The current is violent and carries her away from her pursuers whom she can somehow hear perfectly even though she has left them far behind.
After a sharp fall down a huge waterfall, when she comes to the surface again, she feels how she stops, everything is very dark. As best she can, she manages to kick to steer the huge wood that has kept her floating until she sees how she approaches the shore.
It is raining torrentially, not even her hands can be seen. Her whole body does not feel it, it is numb from the cold, she tries with all her strength to stand up, but her numb and aching legs do not support her. She falls again after making several attempts at the insistence of the voice in her head that tells her that they cannot stop, they have to hide in the forest. However, it is so cold that the current that has run through her several times, filling her with warmth, has not returned, so she drops and curls up on the ground, crying inconsolably.

Chapter 1 Trouble Came
“No, no, don't leave me. Please! Please!" The red-haired young woman ignored the little girl's cry, turned, and walked away hastily; She left the little girl standing in front of the big intimidating Packhouse.
The little girl slumped onto the dirt, wailing at the young woman's retreating figure... But, she never turned back.
"Audrey, Audrey, get up!. You're going to be late...again."
Audrey jolted up in her tiny single bed.
"I'm up, I'm up." She rubbed her eyes and yawned.
"Morning, Ms. Bridget." She greeted in between her yawns.
"Same dream again?" Ms. Bridget asked, stroking Audrey's red hair.
Audrey nodded.
"It's okay child, everything's going to be all right." Ms. Bridget removed the thin blanket from Audrey, pulled her out of bed, and pushed her into the bathroom.
"But we have to survive first, right? Now, wash up and get going before he chops your head off." She heard the old lady giggle before leaving her room.
Audrey did not have time to think about the dream she’d been having for the past sixteen years. She rushed to her shower, well...water in a bucket, and ran out of the bathroom. She checked the old clock hanging on her wall; it was 5: a.m. If she did not hasten up, she would get in trouble with the Alpha… Again.
She didn’t want that, her back still ached from carrying a hundred logs of wood yesterday, so she wouldn’t need any punishment anytime soon. She wore her favorite worn-out baggy joggers and an oversized shirt, put her red hair in a bun, and rushed out of her tiny room.

Chapter 1 A daily routine
Zyra huddled in the corner of her small den, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to drown out the sounds of her pack mates running and playing outside. She knew that it was only a matter of time before they would find her, and she would once again become their target.
The young she-wolf had always been different from the others in her pack. Her parents' sacrifice left her alone and isolated. Despite her efforts to make friends, she was constantly ignored or even outright bullied by the others around her. With her mating ceremony only weeks away, Zyra had come of age to get a mate. There was always a special day in their pack when mateless wolves found their mates. Other wolves would get their mate next week, assuming they eventually got one. Zyra knew that things were only going to get worse.
She had caught the eye of the pack's alpha son, a handsome and popular wolf named Cade. But despite his interest in her, it was clear that he didn't truly care for her. It was all about power and status, and Zyra was nothing more than a pawn in their games.
As she huddled there, trying to calm her nerves and steady her breathing, she heard a sudden commotion outside her den. Her heart leaped into her throat as she recognized the voices of Cade and his friends.
"Come on, Zyra, don't be shy!" Cade called out, his tone mocking as he and his friends approached her den entrance. "We just want to have some fun!"
Zyra tensed, her muscles coiling as she prepared to defend herself. But she never got the chance. In one swift move, Cade and his friends broke through the entrance of her den, shoving her roughly to the ground.

Chapter 1 A Terrible Mate
Nyla's POV:
I was awakened by the pain all over my body. My lower body was the sorest. And I felt strange. It seemed messy.
I turned my head and saw a tall and strong werewolf sleeping soundly beside me. Then the scenes from last night flashed through my mind. Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by embarrassment.
Never in my wildest dreams had I thought I would have sex with Killian Cohen.
He was one of the sons of the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack and the most powerful werewolf in the pack. I, on the other hand, was a mere Omega and his servant. We were worlds apart.
I had always been afraid of him. So last night, when he broke in and forced me to have sex with him, I didn't dare to resist at all. After all, I didn't have the ability to resist. My strength was no match for him.
Besides, the unique feeling when he touched me proved that he was my mate. Perhaps it was one of the reasons why I couldn't resist him.
While I was staring at him, Killian's eyelids suddenly flickered.
He was awake, so I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep.
But when I felt that he got up, I opened my eyes. Then I saw him rubbing his temples. Although I felt uneasy, I called him softly, "Mr. Cohen..."
The moment he saw me, his face darkened at once.
Nyla Higgins, did you plan all this? he asked with a frown.
I looked at him fearfully. "Plan? What plan? I don't understand. Please make it clear."
Killian sneered. The way he looked at me, it was as if I was a piece of filthy trash.

Chapter 1 1
(EVIE)
"I hate running." Evie muttered as she sat on her bed to tie her running shoes. She had said the same thing every morning for the past ten years, just before she clipped on her fanny pack and went out for her daily two mile run. " I can't believe people do this for fun." She said as soon as she stepped out of her apartment into the balmy darkness of the hallway. " At 5 freaking am." She added, plugging in her ear phones. In less than three minutes, she was singing in tune to the rock and roll music blaring in her ears and running at top speed, she smiled and nodded at runners as she ran past them. To the casual observer, she was oblivious to her surroundings and fully focused on her run. He couldn't be farther from the truth, while her human form focused on the run, her wolf was fully alert, accessing everything and everyone, acknowledging the familiar and cataloging the strange for further study later in the day, while simultaneously notating all exits out of town.

Chapter 1 Introduction
My alarm clock rang aggressively for the third time, awakening me from the amazing sleep I was enjoying.
Groaning loudly, I stretched my hand to reach out for the clock by my bedside, whilst my face remained planted on the pillow.
My nose twitched when I found nothing.
Still, I let my hand wander, whilst my mind calculated the distance that has always been between my clock and my bed. My face scrunched in unbelief and frustration after a few minutes of wandering when my hands came up with nothing.
Groaning again, I opened my eyes, not having any other choice, the scrunched lines on my face relaxing when I saw my mother standing close to my bed, a short smile on her face, my alarm clock held safely in her hands.
“I still don’t understand your grudge against mornings, especially during school days. Worse, you are keeping the clock from doing its work. Get up Mia. Today is just Wednesday; you still have two more school days to go before the weekend. Don’t give up yet.'' I heard her state and sighed tiredly.
“Can I sit back today? I can feel a fever coming.” I pleaded with a pout on my lips, sitting up on my bed.
And really, there was a fever coming. I was already feeling the jitters, the result of being submerged in the school’s pool for more than three hours.
But Mrs Sharon didn’t know that, and doesn’t need to know that.

Chapter 1 Blood Wedding
Ashwin Sorenson, alpha of the Southside Pack walked down the house towards the altar with everyone in attendance looking at him in admiration and reverence. It was his wedding day but this was not a wedding of Love or even that of the overwhelming werewolf mate bond. It was a wedding of convenience and greed and power.
Ashwin was a 6.4 broad shouldered mountain whose reputation was as vicious as a physique yet he was as handsome as the sun setting in the east. He wore a white suit and his best man who followed behind him was his brother in a black suit.
Ashwin and his brother got up to the altar and soon the Bride waltzed in, in her marvelous pink wedding gown. The bride, of course, was Fellrath Plunge; the alpha of the Northside pack. She was a devious powerful alpha whose strength and dominion was only surpassed by Alpha Ashwin's.
So it was safe to see that this was the wedding of the century amongst werewolves.
Alpha Fellrath was followed in by four bridesmaids who stood behind her when she got to the altar. The two alphas looked straight into each other's eyes without the sparks of marriage floating in the air. None of them were even smiling.
Alpha Ashwin did not believe in love and he saw the mate bond as weakening. He'd rather pursue power and that was exactly what he was doing. Alpha Fellrath on the other hand lost her mate years ago and has since had her eye on Ashwin.

Chapter 1 CH. 1
(GARDENIA)
“Gard…Gard!”
He tugged so hard at me and shoved the bedsheet off my body. Then I felt him pull at my hands and wake me in the roughest manner known to me.
I sat up and yearned heavily. However, I was quick to shut my mouth when I met his gaze which was riddled with disgust and hurriedly looked around the room.
‘Good lord, this is not my room!’ I muttered inwardly while jumping out of the bed on which I had nestled all night.
He stared at me with furrowed eyebrows while I scurried around the room, picking up my clothes which he shoved to the corners of the room while we were…wait, we made out last night!
I spurned him and looked him dead in the eye. I never had the intention to let him take off my clothes since we met just a week ago, but he somehow managed to lure me into his room in the Matinas cabin last night and went down on me.
"I'm sorry, Gard, but last night… it never happened." He stood up, exposing the entire length of his naked body, except for his groin, which was concealed by the drawstring pants around his inviting waist.
We did something. But now… now he simply stated that it never happened?
Was this the same man who blessed my ears with lovely words and promised me a lifetime of care in his arms?
How come he changed so quickly and denied everything right in front of me?
I was unable to utter a single word as my gaze lingered some seconds longer on his expressionless face.

Chapter 1 Alice's POV
"I don't like her."
I was in my room when Adam was engrossed in conversation with his friends, I caught bits of words that sent a chill down my spine.
My hand, poised to knock gently, froze in mid-air as I overheard those disheartening remarks from my supposed future mate. Clutched in my trembling fingers was a carefully prepared meal, a dish his parents had assured me was one of his favorites. I had hoped to surprise him, but little did I know that I would be the one taken aback.
My heart sank as Adam's unkind words echoed in my mind. This wasn't the first time I had heard him speak disparagingly about me. He had never been keen on the idea of us being together, always questioning why he should be forced to marry me out of all the women in our pack. His disdain was not a secret, and he made it known to my face.
"She's like a weak child, constantly in need of protection. I refuse to have someone so feeble as my partner. I despise her very existence," he uttered callously.
With a forced smile now replaced by profound sadness, I bit my lower lip, willing my emotions to stay in check. Deep down, I had always known that he would never truly accept me as his future mate. I had strived to meet his standards, but I was never enough, and I never would be.
