She Lost Her Uterus
For three consecutive months, Jordyn hadn't had her menstrual cycle, so she went to the hospital for an ultrasound with hopeful anticipation. The doctor studied the test results for a while before exclaiming, "You don't have a uterus!" Jordyn's immediate reaction was disbelief. "How could I not have a uterus? My menstrual cycles have always been regular until they suddenly stopped these last three months." The doctor checked her medical records on the computer and informed her, "Three months ago, you underwent a surgical hysterectomy." A surgical hysterectomy? Jordyn shook her head immediately. "No, three months ago, I had an appendectomy!" "The surgery records clearly state it was a hysterectomy, and the consent form even has your husband's signature on it." Unwilling to give up, Jordyn pleaded with the doctor to find the surgery consent form. She found it was true. The signature at the bottom was unmistakably her husband's distinctive and flamboyant handwriting. Jordyn was still trying to process the shock when the doctor suddenly discovered something else on the computer. "Is your husband named Ryan Reynolds?" "Yes." "He was just with another woman for a pregnancy check-up. The pregnant woman's name is Linda Jenkins. Do you know her?" She did know Linda. A year ago, Ryan had a car accident, it was Linda who had saved him.
