Sent Away the Ungrateful Son
Adopted son resolutely returned to his biological parents after being raised for over twenty years. He told me, "Blood is thicker than water; you wouldn't understand since you didn't give birth to me." My husband and I agreed tearfully, but we didn't expect that a year later he ran back to us. The adopted son cried and said, "Mom and Dad, I let you down. I'm not back to seek treatment; I just want to repay your kindness." My husband and I sold our possessions and worked day and night to get him well. In the end, he turned around and borrowed money at high interest using our identities, leaving behind a comment: "You took care of my illness; you got what you deserved." My husband eventually died from coughing up blood, and I was bullied on the street, starving to death. When I opened my eyes again, I found myself back on the day the adopted son wanted to return.
