Mother-in-law Finds a Mistress for My Husband
On the third day of our marriage, my mother-in-law, who had been missing for five years, returned. She wrapped her arms around my husband's and pointed at me, saying she wanted to set rules for me. My husband looked troubled and said, "Mom is just doing this for our own good." I retreated back to my parents' home, but she stormed into my workplace, causing a scene and accusing me of being unfilial and disrespectful to her. She even introduced a girl from their hometown to my husband as a potential mistress. I didn't say a word; I just called the police, filed for divorce, and sold the house. She cried to the media, claiming that I was trying to drive her, a widow, to her death. I laughed and said, "Let's calculate how much your son has been living off me all these years; it's time he settles his debts."
